We focus on the Discus and the shot put Glide and spin

The Mac Story  How I got to become a discus thrower
DISCUS THROW
SHOT PUT – Glide and Spin
For Coaches and Throwers

I AM A VISUAL LEARNER and prefer to communicate my thoughts to you with video or a photo. My goal is to boil it down to the lowest common denominators, what are the key basic concepts?

THESE ARE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS FOR ME…
How do you get started?
How can beginners get hooked on learning?
How can you gain 25′ next season?
How can you make the US Olympic team?
Surprisingly, the keys to make the Olympic Team will usually be the basics that beginners should learn.

I WELCOME A CONVERSATION WITH YOU…
Use the comment or contact pages for your questions. Tell me what you think about my lessons.
Send me your video for an analysis.

I’M SHARING AND SELLING my expertise and experience, what I have learned along the way about the discus and throwing in general. This website is linked to my YouTube Channel and my video lessons on CoachTube.

SOME OF YOU MAY BE FAMILIAR with The Wilkins Review, a collection of 120 video lessons.
We are consolidating, updating and renewing those lessons and posting them on CoachTube. One difference about Coach Tube is that it is a one time purchase for unlimited use and time period.

WE ARE ALSO DEVELOPING a line of products and services that helped me as an athlete and now as a coach looking to enjoy an active healthy life style. Smart Back Care will be a source of products I not only believe in but have made a difference in my life..

WE ARE NOT MAC THROW VIDEO
My friends at Mac Throw do a great job at covering the Throws. You should be there often. We will not be a site with lots of videos of throws from recent competitions. But we will have more explanation and education on how to throw well and therefore farther.

THINK ABOUT THIS…
When you go to YouTube and watch the latest big throw, do you know what the thrower is trying to accomplish, are they actually doing what they want to do, are they making mistakes and still throwing far? (most likely)
What should you try to imitate and what should you try to avoid? None of these vital questions can be answered while watching YouTube. We intend to provide these answers and answers to questions you may not have considered.
