45 Days Left in the Year

Hi Friends,

And what are we going to do with 45 days?

GET INSPIRED & LEARN SOMETHING NEW
Now that I can’t throw this kind of stuff gets me going.
Like a blast of caffeine after a week without coffee!
This makes it easy to find something that “I learned today.”

I am attending this event and thought I would share with you.
Worst case, it will be uplifting to my spirits, always a good thing.

And maybe I’ll get some tips for my online business.
Watch at your convenience, its 2 days of online training.
Learn from the best such as Robert Kiyosaki, Les Brown,
Bob Proctor and more.

NEW BACKYARD SHOT PUT
Tom Feuerbach’s Circle in Preston Iowa
His Little brother Al broke the World Record

THE SHOT PUT CHRONICLES – EARLY REBELS – OF COURSE HE WAS A SHOT PUTTER
Ralph Rose Olympic Giant, Six Olympic Medals
1904 Gold Shot Put, Silver discus Throw, Bronze Hammer Throw
1908 Gold Discus
1912 Gold Two Handed Shot Put, Silver Shot Put

In the 1908 London Olympics Opening Ceremony, Rose, the U.S. flag bearer,
refused (supported by a majority of his mostly Irish-descended US teammates)
to dip the flag to the royal box, as every other country did. Teammate
Martin Sheridan supposedly explained Rose’s action with the terse statement,

“This flag dips to no earthly king.”

Since 1908 the US flag has never dipped to the Head of State of the host
nation at the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics or World Championships.
Including the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki when I had the honour
to carry the stars and stripes.

Remember, in 1908 the US was not yet the big brother to the world.
The two World Wars had not happened vaulting us to the position of leader
of the free world.
